Can anyone place firmly Son Lux's music into one category? I was never in favour of putting labels on artists and segragating music based on certain arcane systems of dividing it into genres. There's only good and bad music, and Lanterns is defintely on the first lot. Atmospheric, brave, almost impertinent at some moments, it defies perceptions and invites us to a journey into a multitude of worlds and universes.
