Poplie radio show, 30th of May 2010

This one comes after last week's hiatus due to the unforgettable Thessaloniki Poplie party, so some songs from my play list there found their way into the show. Plus Eurovision Song contest was last night - the four songs that got my attention are featured here - Germany won with Lena, who reminded me of Marina & The Diamonds. Enjoy - get the show from the list of links on the left and click on the photo to see the play list.

Poplie radio show, 15th of May 2010

This week I had to do the radio show on Saturday as I would be out of town on Sunday. Some new stuff again this time, Kylie among them. The Oslo Opera shown in the photo above is a favourite building of mine - and we had a Norwegian artist in the list, Rebekka Karijiord. You can find the show on the left column of the blog and click on the photo above to see the playlist.

Poplie radio show, 9th of May 2010

Mother's day this Sunday so I dedicated Kate Bush's "Mother Stands For Comfort" to all mothers! The show opened half an hour later due to technical problems with the server but the producer after me (Nikos Gkotsis) was kind enough to give me his first half hour so I could air a complete show. First hour is more low key, with things picking up at the second hour. Many new songs but also some current and old favourites as well. You can find the show on the left column and click on the image above to see the playlist. Enjoy!

Poplie radio show, 2nd of May 2010: Olivia Newton-John tribute

This time I dedicated the whole show to Olivia Newton-John - in my opinion one of the best pop singers ever. I decided to avoid the cliché tracks and concentrate on the ones that showcase Olivia as a great singer, showing a variety of music genres and moods. You will find the show as always on the left side column. Click on the photo above to see the playlist.
